The British School of Etiquette is proud to support two charities that work tirelessly to make the world a better place for everyone.

SCOPE

Scope is a national disability equality charity that provides practical information and emotional support to disabled people and their families. The Charity campaigns relentlessly to create a fairer society that gives the 14 million disabled people in the UK equal opportunities.

Scope’s Everyday Equality strategy focuses on fairness, justice and rights – at home, at school, at work and in the wider communities. It aims to create a society where people are not overlooked, treated unfairly or made to feel inferior because of who they are. Scope offers a number of services, including a free helpline, employment support for working-age disabled people, a mentoring service for parents of disabled children and a community engagement programme.

YOUNG MINDS

YoungMinds is the UK’s leading charity championing the wellbeing and mental health of children and young people. With as many as 1 in 6 children and young people experiencing mental health problems, YoungMinds works to make sure they get the best possible support and have the resilience to overcome life’s difficulties.

The charity also provides expert knowledge to professionals parents and young people through a Parents’ Helpline, online resources, training and development, outreach work and publications. The Young Minds crisis messenger service provides free, 24/7 crisis support via trained volunteers across the UK. Young Minds also run Head Meds, a website providing young people with information about mental health medications and conditions.
