kidiquette ™ 2: dining etiquette

Whether you’re eating at home, dining out, or having dinner with friends, good table manners are an essential part of every meal. As parents, you want to feel confident that you can bring your children to social events, restaurants and formal functions without having to worry about their etiquette.

Table manners are not just about holding the knife and fork correctly and knowing where to place your napkin. They also show respect and courtesy to fellow diners and are important tools for social interactions that will benefit children for the rest of their lives.

Our Dining Etiquette class for children takes place over three one-hour sessions, with each class focusing on the starter, main course or pudding. Participants will be sent clear instructions on how to set up the table prior to the course. We cover all aspects of table manners from cutlery and place settings to conversation skills and thank you notes.
